I'm a Research Associate at the University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg (Helmut Schmidt Universität- Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg) in Hamburg, Germany, researching on the application of photonics in sensors, defense, space, and communications. Currently, my research is focused on optical metrology especially using laser interferometry for high-precision optical sensors, industrial manufacturing, and military applications. Other research areas include high-capacity optical communications and networks (also known as space division multiplexing). I'm also affiliated with the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY), PIER Helmholtz Graduate School, and the Max Planck Institute.
